With the rise of wild fires and other natural disasters effecting California, its imperative to have a Horse Emergency Evacuation Plan in place.
Horse Emergency Evacuation Plan Importance
We recently held an informal meeting with Susan McElhinney and Julie Monser from HEET (Horse Emergency Evacuation Team). The small gathering of Sea Horse Ranch boarders listened intently regarding emergency planning for the ranch. Should the need to evacuate arise, its critical to have a plan in place. All those in attendance learned a lot about this important subject while enjoying a fun PotLuck that everyone contributed to. Thanks to the Ladies that made this an enjoyable and informative event!
